Snapshot of a newspaper acrticle from 1952 about Drimnagh twinsThis newspaper clipping was kindly passed on to me from Brian Murphy from the Bosco Youth centre on Davitt Rd.

The picture was taken in 1952 and is about the amount of twins in the school. Apparently, “among the 3111 boys and girls in Our Lady of Good Counsel at Drimnagh, Dublin, there are no fewer than 41-sets of twins. Our picture shows the twins in the girls’ school

Are you one of the twins? If so we would love to hear from you either in the comments below or through the contact page.

    Hi Vera

Do you mean the 41 sets. I don’t think it’s wrong, thats a picture of all the twins at the time.

It’s an awful lot all the same.

    Thanks Rosemary

Thats great to know. It’s on my list to do something with these old photos and maybe put together some sort of exhibition and story behind the faces in the pictures.
