New Drimnagh Forum
Over the last few months different groups from from Drimnagh attended various meetings with Dublin City Council in the Father Lar Redmond Centre. These meetings are hosted by the Dublin City Council officials hosted by Dublin City Council. The purpose of the meeting was to get a collective decision from the groups about forming a forum from Drimnagh to be a part of the Dublin 12 and Dublin city community forum.

- Fr Lar Redmond Centre
- Drimnagh Residents Community Group
- St John Bosco Football Club
- Drimnagh Community Network
- Over 60s Forum
- Drimnagh Celtic Football club
Currently Drimnagh Community Network has representatives sitting on the following local statuatory boards. These representatives are volunteers & act as ambassadors for Drimnagh.
- Dublin 12 Local Drugs Task Force
- Dublin 12 Local Policing Forum
- Drimnagh Integrated Area Plan Monitoring Committee
It is believed that there are roughly 50-60 active groups in Drimnagh from sporting groups to dance groups to resident associations.
The aim of this new forum is to build a database of all the groups in Drimnagh & keep them informed of what is happening & what local decisions are being made on their behalf. It was agreed that the Drimnagh Community Network would be the forum for Drimnagh.
