So the Festival is over for another year. This blog contains a list of people without who the Festival would not have been possible. So from myself and the Drimnagh Festival committee I would like to say a heartfelt THANK YOU for all your contributions to this years Festival and we look forward to working with you again on next years Festival! :)

Luas/RPA – Without the funding from the Luas, the Drimnagh Festival would not be able to go ahead so we give our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to those who give us the chance to make the Festival happen.

Dublin City Council – DCC kindly donated some funding and also provided us with some play equipment for our Fun Day.

Jade Costello – For being our art competition judge :)

All the Parade participants – there are way too many of you to mention individually but this year our parade was bigger and more colourful than any other year so for that we want to say thank you :)

Emily Boyne – For her lovely song for Emma at our official launch

Good Counsel GAA – For letting us invade their space for a weekend!

Vitz Drinks and The Gleeson Group – for providing us with drinks for the kids on our launch night.

Stage and – Steve gave us a really good deal on that amazing stage for the day so a huge thank you to him! :)

Jamie Harrington – Ah Jamie. Jamie did an amazing job as MC for the Teenline Talent Stage and the fun day as a whole on Saturday so for that a massive high five! :)

Luke Clerkin – Luke managed the Teenline stage on Saturday and despite some difficulties still managed to have all the bands done by 6:01pm! There’s talent eh?

All the acts that took part on the Teenline Talent Stage – again way to many to mention individually but thank you to every single one of you who took to the stage to raise funds for Teenline!

Teenline – Teenline came on board with us during the Festival this year and we were glad to be able to help them out!

All our fun day acts – Again way too many to mention…..but thank you for making the day a massive success!

Roger Quinn – Our poor community guard whose head I have wrecked over the last few months. A huge thanks to him for firstly putting up with me and secondly for organising the Gardai presence around the Festival

Dublin Bus – These guys are the reason we didn’t get knocked down walking the parade route so they deserve a mention!

Rory O’ Connor and Niamh Parkinson – Our two other Voice of Drimnagh Judges. Rory and Niamh did a sterling job as Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole on the Voice of Drimnagh! :)

Recreate – These guys are amazing, you should all go visit them in Ballymount! They donated our overall prize in the art competition!

Bird Jungle – Bird Jungle were our main sponsors for the dog show and Eugene came along to judge it for us!

Mutz Nutz – These guys also donated prizes for the dog show! :)

Local businesses who donated prizes – there are too many of you to mention but you know who you are! Thanks a mill!

John Peters – Our Festival photographer, who I think you will agree did a fab job for the weekend

Festival TV – These guys did a great job throughout the festival and we are thankful to them for choosing Drimnagh as one of their festivals.

Order of Malta – always on hand if you happen to faint or hurt your knee….thanks guys!

The Festival Committee – Without the dedication of this small team of people the Festival would not happen so a huge thanks to them for getting together every week and making it happen!

And last but by no means least…..Thank YOU, the people of Drimnagh! Thank you for coming out and making the Drimnagh Festival 2014 a huge success. Without people coming out to support us, it would just be 8 or 9 people sitting in a big field surrounded by a bunch of games and a huge stage… thanks for coming out and having fun in the sun with us. We hope you had as good a time as we did and we hope you will come again next year when the Festival hopefully be bigger and better! :)

For now, I hope I haven’t missed anyone…..though I am sure I have. If I have feel free to leave a comment under the post and I’ll amend it!

Look out for a few more blogs which I have coming up over the next few days!

Till next time!
