..”I went to Drimnagh Castle CBS and that school had the only sort of castle left in Ireland that had a moat around it, and I think it’s been restored, but it had a draw-bridge and a moat and all that and I remember being 15 and doing a 20-minute documentary on the castle and I won the Bank of Ireland video award best newcomer and that’s was my first break…”

Rathmines Pembroke Community Partnership would like to invite you and/or your organisation/beneficiaries to participate in a training course for Dublin 12. Social Analysis Training is aimed at helping individuals/organisations to gain a clearer understanding, awareness and knowledge of the communities they live and work in and why face some of the difficulties and challenges they do. The emphasis is on the issues that create inequality, exclusion and marginalisation for particular people, groups or communities and how you might work to prevent, reduce and minimize this.

If you are working as an individual, or for an organisation (either paid or voluntarily) and you are trying to address some of the difficulties in your community, then Social Analysis Training will help you to do that.

Full costs of the training will be covered by the Partnership and will take place for 5 consecutive mornings in Father Lar Redmond Community Centre from 9.30am – 1.30pm. The date of the first session is Tues 29^th May. A maximum of 4 people from one organisation may be accommodated, but if the course is over-subscribed you may be asked to reduce this number.
